At Godestar, customer satisfaction is important to us. Please review the following return and refund policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. 30-Day Return Window
You may request a return within30 days of receiving your item, based on the delivery date shown in the carrier's tracking record.
2. Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:
- The item must be unopened and unused.
- The original product seal must remain intact.
- The item must be in its original, resalable condition.
- The product must not be damaged, altered, or tampered with after delivery.
Important: Please inspect your package upon arrival and verify that you received the correct item before opening the product seal.
For hygiene and safety reasons, contact lenses with broken seals cannot be returned unless they are defective, damaged, or supplied incorrectly.
3. Who Pays for Return Shipping?
Returns Due to Our Error
If the return is caused by our mistake, including but not limited to:
- Incorrect item received
- Damaged product
- Manufacturing defect
- Verified quality issue
Godestar will cover all related shipping costs, including both the original shipping fee and return shipping fee.
Returns for Personal Reasons
If the return is requested for personal reasons, including but not limited to:
- Change of mind
- Color preference
- Style preference
- Incorrect prescription or lens parameters selected by the customer
The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
No restocking fees will be charged.
4. Return Process
Step 1 – Contact Customer Support
Please email us at service@godestar.com with:
- Your order number
- Reason for return
- Photos of the received package (if applicable)
Please do not return any item without prior authorization.
Returns sent without approval may be delayed, rejected, or returned to the sender.
Once your request has been reviewed and approved, we will provide the appropriate return address and detailed return instructions.
Step 2 – Ship the Item Back
Securely package the item and ship it to the return address provided by our customer service team.
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of untracked returns.
Step 3 – Provide Tracking Information
Please send us:
- The tracking number
- The carrier name
- The tracking website link
for your return shipment.
5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a product that is:
- Damaged during transit
- Defective
- Incorrectly shipped
please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
To help us process your claim, please provide clear photos or videos showing the issue.
After verification, we will offer one of the following remedies at no additional cost to you:
- Replacement product
- Full refund
including reimbursement of any applicable shipping costs.
6. Refund Processing
Once your returned item is delivered to our warehouse, it will be inspected within 2 business days.
Approved Refunds
If approved:
- Your refund will be issued within 5 business daysafter inspection.
- The refund will be credited to your original payment method.
- Depending on your bank or card issuer, additional processing time may apply.
Rejected Refunds
If the return does not meet our eligibility requirements, we will notify you by email with an explanation.
7. Non-Returnable Situations
We reserve the right to refuse a return or refund under the following circumstances:
- The return request is submitted more than 30days after delivery.
- The product has been opened, worn, used, altered, or is no longer in resalable condition.
- The product seal has been broken for reasons unrelated to a verified defect or shipping error.
- The return is based solely on personal preference after the product has been opened.
- The item returned does not match the item originally purchased.
